A website earns its cost by doing one job properly
Most business sites fail commercially for dull reasons rather than design ones. They load slowly on a mid-range Android. The enquiry form goes to an inbox nobody watches. Nobody on staff can change a price without emailing the developer who built it two years ago.
So we start from the job: what should someone be able to do here, and what has to be true for them to do it on a 4G connection while standing in a shop. That decides the stack, not the other way round — WordPress where a non-technical team will maintain it, a modern framework where the site has to do real work.
Handover is part of the build, not a favour afterwards. The repository, the domain and the analytics are in your name from the start, and your team gets the training and the runbook to make ordinary changes without booking us first.

Four to six weeks from kickoff for a typical business site, assuming content and photos arrive when agreed. Larger builds with custom integrations are scoped individually, and the written proposal names the date rather than leaving it open.
Do we own the code and the domain?
Yes, both, from the start. The domain is registered in your company name and the repository is yours. We do not hold either as leverage — that is the whole reason the company works the way it does.
Can our team update content without a developer?
Yes, and that is a requirement of the build rather than an extra. You get a CMS chosen for whoever will maintain it, plus recorded walkthroughs and a written runbook covering the changes you will actually make: prices, photos, staff, hours, new pages.
What happens after launch?
Thirty days of fixes at no cost for anything that does not behave as scoped. After that you can maintain it yourself using the handover material, or move onto a hosting and maintenance plan. There is no lock-in either way.
